Koala

Still working on some self promotional stuff and loving it. The latest illustration is of a Koala that Chris and I saw on our honeymoon in Australia...Happy days!

Sarah Horne's Rhino book was published on April 1st

What a pleasure this was!

The book published on April Fool's day by Hodder. The publishers were very generous and arranged huge cut out/standees of the main characters. Hilarious trying to get them into the car after the event!

Norwegian Illustrators 03

A new book on Norwegian Illustration has now hit the shelves, and is also viewable on issuu (see below). Gumbo is represented on pages 68-69.

Digital Artist Magazine

This month, Gumbo have been featured in a substantial article about collectives and collaborations in Digital artist magazine. Here is Chris's beautiful geisha girl illustration, plus a scan of how the image appeared in the article. Sarah's heavy guy holding a copy of 'Fitness weekly' is also featured - this image was produced for a humorous book about inappropriate presents called 'The Wrongest gifts'! 

Style of Wight Magazine.

I have recently produced some bird illustrations for the new Style of Wight magazine's front cover, which was launched in January 2010. There was a call for local artists and creatives on the Isle of Wight to contribute to the magazine; a free publication which aims to promote events and business's in this area. I no longer live on the Island but was delighted to be involved and offer my creative services. I really hope the magazine goes from strength to strength.
